Idea Future – Christians against Tar Sands

We need a new vision of economy & sustainability, peace & justice, equity & sharing.

What will it take to get there?

Simple Steps.

Baby steps like banning Tar Sands…

Yet let’s start by labeling the oil produced from them as toxic and highly polluting…

Because even if you don’t believe me and the European Union elders, there is guidance from above.

When am faced with these questions am reminded of this quote:

“The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged, and that you should reward your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear your name both great and small, and should destroy those who destroy the earth…”

Rev 11v18

For the Christians, the Bible itself makes clear that we are to steward, protect and tend the earth and its resources. After all it is Gods’ and we are responsible and accountable to Him for this.

Christians who attempt to follow Gods ways and instructions in their life – and who also want to influence others – whether genuine or fake Christians and also influence people of other and no faiths, have to demonstrate that they are good stewards of this Earth themselves, first.

Because our malignant consumerism and cancer-like unchecked growth behaviour, devours our Earth’s being & resources.

Now the only profits to be seen are false.

Gaia once vibrant is now in a mid-death swoon.

What to do?

You can express your love for the planet, for your children and for the human family by simply committing your being to global economic and ecological sustainability.

Energy is a big subject here. Fossil Fuels destroy our earth and atmosphere.

Can’t support Tar Sands and still go to church and pray.

Simply Can’t

Yours,

Pano
