A Peace to Remember 100 years on

Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the flowers gone?
The girls have picked them every one.
Oh, When will you ever learn?
Oh, When will you ever learn?

Young girls
They’ve taken husbands every one.

Young men
They’re all in uniform.

Soldiers
They’ve gone to graveyards every one.

Graveyards
They’re covered with flowers every one.

Flowers
Young girls have picked them every one.

Yours,
Pano

PS:

On the eve of the anniversary of the Great War One Hundred years on we best remember that we can either fight for PEACE in our lives now or we will earn the peace of the cemeteries for our young strapping lads being returned to their mothers in boxes….

Dear God, please, let there be peace in the world.

Poppies everywhere…

Pete Seeger reminds me of loved ones lost in the jaws of violence and hate.

Why?
