MIPS = Million instructions per second.

This is the basic measure of a computer’s central processing unit performance and as it turns out now, it is the measure of the human brain as well.

Only we are at a Trillion instructions per second in our optimal healthy biological functioning state of being.

No one laughs now when I speak in conferences about the necktop computer our brain represents to me and it seems far more people that I meet have read my book “Brain Software” these days.
