Being lost in thought, thinking about things to do, what’s been done, what could have been done…
This is not only tiring but also a brilliant way to waste energy.
This practice of so may of us, not only diminishes our peacefulness and clouds our clarity, but it also keeps us grounded in illogical fears, uncertainties and doubts.
Plus every time we become lost in thought it means exactly that. We are lost.
To find ourselves, we ought to allow our mind to become quiet, to become utterly tranquil.
Because in the quiet depths of every being, there is a stillness that contains a deep inner peace and wisdom that can guide us in our life.
Be that stillness.
Earn the respect of your mind.
Conquer the monkey mind and you’ll be a better person for that.
Cheers,
Dr CHurchill
PS:
Maybe you ought to stay still, and sit quietly for a while, with nothing in your mind.
You’ll find all the answers that you seek…
