DIY Coronavirus Testing — Be Fearless…

As Americans we are a pioneering breed, frontiersmen & fierce women, unafraid of taking control of our lives and doing our thing…

So its time to take the matter of our persona health in our own hands and perform our own Coronavirus test, because at this moment of fear and uncertainty — our own government is failing us, claiming falsely that they have run out of tests, and blocking people who want to be tested from getting tested.

Therefore – we need to do our own testing.

Ergo, I invite you to do your own Wuhan Coronavirus testing if you are feeling that your symptoms are not a simple flu but something more…

It is as simple as one, two, three, and presto you’ve got your results.

Follow my lead here and self-test yourself without wanting for the government to do it for you, and without visiting the hospitals and the clinics that are now veritable germ factories, because such places must be avoided at any cost if you do not want to be infected and reinfected ad infinitum…

Simply put a Q-tip deep into both of your nostrils and give it a round rub, till the end gets wet…

Do this right after you wake up, early in the morning and before you rinse or blow your nose, right when your nostrils are wet and filled with mucus, and rub the Q-tip deeply up the nostrils on both sides.

Then drop the Q-tip into a ziplock bag and close it tightly. Fold that ziplock bag into a tight little package and fix it into that position with some scotch tape or a rubber band, to keep it folded.

Immediately wash your hands carefully, and dry them.

Then get a second ziplock bag and place inside it the first one with the Q-tip carrying your biological sample, and seal it securely.

Place this package into an envelope and mail it to the closest Public Health laboratory that is testing for Coronavirus in your City and State.

Make sure the envelope contains your return address, your telephone and your email address, so that you can get notified immediately, if you are positive or negative for the disease.

Do not forget to address it properly for the Public Health lab and to write outside that it contains Biological specimen inside.

That is all.

This below is a good address for the Northern California region, but you have to search and find your own regional laboratory for expedited self-test service near your home and in your State … by asking Google to give you the address of the laboratory nearest to you.

Fist order of business in order to beat this bug is for all of us to boost our Immunity, and that means to help our Auto-Immune system rise up and fight.

Prophylactic medications as written up above are highly recommended at a small dose of Hydroxychloroquine of 200mg 3x daily is a good start.

Please keep in mind that 99% of people who get coronavirus won’t need hospitalization, and to help you out with overcoming this beast — here are directions on how to manage for the symptoms and prepare for your own, and for your family’s recovery, if you need to sequester and self quarantine yourself, by stay in place inside your home.

Practice good hygiene and take all the precautionary measures, in order to try to avoid getting the Wuhan Coronavirus in the first place, through good hand washing, observing all rules for complete hygiene in your person, family and home, and observe social distancing — yet be knowledgeable about what happens if you actually get infected and start having symptoms, which many of us will certainly experience in the coming days, weeks, and months.

To that end, please let me make some helpful suggestions:

You basically just want to prepare as though you know you’re going to get a nasty respiratory bug, like bronchitis or pneumonia. You ought to have the foresight to know that since this bug might come your way — be a good boycott and be ever prepared…

A few things you should actually do and buy ahead of time, are these easily procured products: Kleenex, Paracetamol, generic mucus thinning cough medicine, (check the label and make sure you’re not doubling up on Paracetamol), cough drops, vitamin C, Honey ginger and lemon tea, can work just as well. Any kind of vapor tablets, balms, and eucalyptus oils, as well as Vicks Vaporub are good decongestants, as are the leaves and bark of the eucalyptus tree itself, and please use the Vicks Vaporub for rubbing your respiratory area, put some in your nostril endings & rub your children’s chest at night just before bedtime.

If you feel that you need more oxygen than what you are receiving from your simple deep breathing, and don’t have an oxygen bottle — please use a good humidifier as you go to bed overnight. You can also just turn the shower all the way on to the hot water, and sit in the bathtub breathing in the steam, or heat up some water in a pot, and then place it on the kitchen table, and sit above it with your head covered with a towel and breath-in deeply, the steam from the steaming water for 15 minutes.

However, if you have a history of asthma, COPD, and bronchitis or pneumonia, and you have a prescription inhaler, make sure the one you have isn’t expired and refill it immediately, or get a new one if necessary.

This is also a good time to make long term meal preparations, like cooking up a big batch of your favorite soup, and then freezing it, and thus have it available on hand as needed.

Drink a tremendous amount of hot water with a wedge of lemon, or tea. And of course tap water all the time to keep you hydrated. Also you might want to stock up on whatever favorite juices and clear fluids your children like to drink (not too much sugar), although tap water is best — they might appreciate some variety, and flavorful juices will do just that.

If you get the symptoms of this disease coming on — or you want to be using a prophylaxis, and care to start symptom management after having a fever over 38°c, start taking Paracetamol and aspirin, rather than Ibuprofen.

Hydrate — hydrate — hydrate!

Rest. Rest and take a lot of restful breaks from whatever you normally do.

Bathe.

Soap your hands and your body all over.

Use bathing salts in your bathtub and keep the water as hot, as you can bear it, soaking yourself in it, for at least half an hour.

Take this war against the infectious epidemic seriously.

Take your bath daily.

Treat yourself with kindness.

You should not be leaving your house!

Even if you are feeling better you may will still be infectious for fourteen days and older people and those with existing health conditions should be avoided!

Ask friends and family to shop or even cook for you, and then leave these supplies outside your door after ringing the bell or texting your phone, or calling you, so that you can pick it up, after they leave — in order to avoid contact.

You DO NOT NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL, because the hospitals today are germ factories, as seen by how many Doctors of the Emergency rooms are getting critically ill and dying from this new Wuhan Coronavirus.

Avoid calling the EMS, unless you are having great trouble breathing or your fever is very high (over 39°C) and your symptoms seem unmanageable with the home medications we discuss up above.

Keep in mind that over 99% of all healthy adult cases thus far, have been managed at home, with basic rest, sequestration, plenty of hydration, steaming open the airways, and these over-the-counter medications.

However, in the event of extreme stress under the influence of this virus, and only if you are terribly worried, or in dire distress and you feel your symptoms are getting worse and worse — go ahead and call, 911 and they will advise you further if you need to go to hospital or if an EMS crew can transport you to the Emergency Room, or if you can still mange things and drive yourself to the Doctors.

Please do keep in mind that all the hospital beds will be used for people who are critically ill, and in acute need of oxygen and breathing apparatus, as well as active infusion treatments, and IV fluids, and thus the hospital is a hive of infections and best be avoided at almost any cost…

However, in the event that you already have a pre-existing lung condition (COPD, emphysema, lung cancer) or are on immunosuppressants for any reason — now is a great time to talk to your Doctor or specialist about what they would like you to do if you get sick.

One major relief to all the parents is that kids do VERY well with coronavirus— they usually bounce back in a few days, although they will still be infectious.

For their medications — please use pediatric dosing…

Hug each other. (I know — not permissible, but do it anyway because it boost your immune system)

Hug your children often.

Kiss them too…

Be calm.

Hydrate.

Pray.

Meditate.

Love.

Care for others.

Care for your children and your spouse.

Care for yourself.

Cuddle, pet and walk your dogs often, because our furry friends are immune to this beast.

Yet above all else — please wash your hands often, don’t pick your nose, and prepare yourself rationally and everything will be fine.

Love each other even if social distancing is required, because Love and its resultant endorphin releases in your brain — boost your immunity system greatly and thus can keep you healthy by outweighing any other risks.

Love all.

Love each other abundantly…

Be Smart about all this, because this too shall pass…
