Bleeding Edge

Life is a mystery.

You cannot understand it unless you surrender,

because your intellect cannot grasp its expansive and infinite nature,

its real meaning and fullness.

Bow down low and be humble;

then you will know life’s meaning…

And as we count our years,

and find that we have less time to live

from here on out, than we have lived up to now;

we feel like that child who won a packet of sweets…

cause she ate the first sweet with pleasure,

but when she realized that there were very few left,

she began to enjoy them intensely.

Same here;

cause I no longer have time for endless meetings…

No nonsense for me and I vow to not partake in time warping gatherings,

such as meetings where statutes, rules, procedures and regulations are discussed,

ad infinitum, because I know that nothing will be achieved.

And since I no longer have time to support the absurd people,

who despite their chronological age — they simply have not yet grown up; I focus on Good Works.

Now that I know that my expected time on this Earth is far too short — I choose to work to live,

and thus thrive by doing only what is important to my Soul…

I want the essence, because my Heart is in a hurry.

Remember — I don’t have many “sweets” in the package anymore.

I want to live next to human people,

very human,

who know how to laugh at their mistakes,

who are not inflated by their triumphs,

and who take on their responsibility to live an authentic life.

A Life worth living.

This is how human dignity is defined and defended, because we move towards truth and honesty.

This is the essential ingredient that makes a life worth living.

Therefore, I want to surround myself with people who know how to touch hearts.

I want people who have been taught by the hard blows of life how to live.

They now grog how to grow and prosper through gentle touches of the soul, giving all Acts of Kindness to all the people near & far.

Yes, I’m in a hurry, I’m in a hurry to live with the intensity that only maturity can give.

I don’t want nor intend to waste any of my leftover sweet times,

because I am sure they will be delicately useful to give me energy to do all that’s ahead…

I know my few times left, will be far more interesting than what I have savored so far, cause my goal is to reach the end, honorably justified, and with my eyes open through an open heart — loving all the world and its people, and all Creation surrounding me.

And because I want to be at peace with all my people, all my loved ones — I unleash all of my conscience to act on my behalf…

Because of course I want to pay my Rent for living on this Earth, before I check out for my journey up ahead…

And I am deeply grateful that I was given this life; even though, before the Realization of my Soul’s harkening for Truth and Beauty — I surely wasted a whole lot of it in errant pursuits…

Yet today, I am grateful for the whole lot — as I am thankful for my second life that began when I realized that I only have one.

And maybe we can all come home together, when we finally GET IT…

because individually, we are but one drop of water into the Sea…

Yet together, we are the whole OCEAN of LIFE.
